While we've lived aboard for five years, enjoying the Channel Islands and our home of Ventura West Marina, our first proper cruise aboard Desire was to Ensenada Mexico. Our voyage took us from Ventura to Catalina Island were we spent x-mas eve and x-mas day, then on to our reciprocal club, Oceanside Yacht Club for two days. A third leg to San Diego to check out of the country with the boat, and finally sailing into Mexican waters on January 1, 2010.
